NATUREHOME terrace wood oil
•Application: In the garden - and outside.
•Suitable for the initial treatment of terraces, facades, window and door frames made of wood.
•For all common types of wood, e.g. larch, Douglas fir, cedar, teak, Bangkirai.
Properties: Impregnating and water-repellent. Protects against fading caused by UV radiation. Resistant to saliva and perspiration according to DIN 53 160. Suitable for toys according to DIN EN 71, part 3.
Full declaration: isoaliphatic, linseed oil - stand oil - natural resin ester, wood oil, micronized wax, mineral pigments, titanium dioxide, linseed oil, silicic acid, orange oil, dehydrated amino sugar, ricinene stand oil, linseed oil - wood oil - stand oil, linseed oil - stand oil, pine oil, soya lecithin, chalk, kaolin and lead-free driers (Ca, Co, Zn, Zr). The composition may vary with different shades.
Application: Use only on dry, dust-free, untreated wood. Remove paint and varnish residues. 2-3 applications with brush, brush or roller. Test coats are recommended.
Consumption:
To be determined by trial order. 1st application: 1 l is sufficient for approx. 7 m², i.e. 140 ml/m². 2nd application: 1 l is sufficient for approx. 35 m², i.e. 30 ml/m². On planed wood 1st application: 1 l is sufficient for approx. 25 - 20 m², ie 40 - 50 ml/m² 2nd application: 1 l is sufficient for approx. 50 - 40 m², ie 20 - 25 ml/m² On sanded wood (120-150 grain) 1st application: 1 l is sufficient for approx. 50 - 35 m², ie 20 - 30 ml/m². 2nd application: 1 l is sufficient for approx. 70 - 55 m², i.e. 14 - 18 ml/m²
Drying time: At 23°C and 50% relative humidity approx. 5 - 8 hours. 2nd and 3rd order approx. 18 hours. Higher temperatures can result in shorter drying times, while lower temperatures can result in longer drying times. Ensure sufficient ventilation!
Storage: cool, dry. Shelf life unopened at least 4 years. Opened products react with oxygen, which over time can lead to skin formation and a rancid odor. Decant leftovers into smaller containers.
Disposal: In accordance with local official regulations. Dried product residues can be disposed of as domestic waste.
Hints:
Ventilate well during and after painting. Working materials soaked with NATUREHOME patio oil such as sponges, grinding dust, polishing pads, cleaning rags, etc. with oil that has not dried through should be kept airtight in metal containers or in water until disposal, otherwise there is a risk of self-ignition due to the vegetable oil content.
