The best kitchen wood
The olive wood from which our NATUREHOME wood cutting board is made grows very slowly, resulting in an incomparably firm and dense structure. This makes it ideal for use in the kitchen, as it is particularly cut-resistant and does not accept colors, moisture or odors. The olive tree wood we use has been air-dried gently for years, so that the cutting board is preserved for a lifetime if properly cared for. Due to the characterful grain of the wood, each piece is unique. It can be used in many ways as a trivet, as an insensitive wooden board for cutting and chopping or for serving cheese or small snacks. Warm water and a little washing-up liquid are sufficient for easy cleaning. Occasionally you should rub it with olive oil. The high-quality material is not a mass product and can also remain on your table while eating. You can see and feel the loving handwork. Our NATUREHOME olive wood cutting board with handle is a real natural product.
Dimensions: S: approx. 30 x 14 x 1.3 cm, M: approx. 40 x 17 x 2 cm, L: approx. 50 x 20 x 2 cm, slight deviations in size are due to the nature of the product, olive wood
The manufacture of our olive wood products is very laborious and manual. The wood, which has naturally dried over several years before processing, is processed in one piece, which is why there may be slight deviations in the dimensions, color intensity and characteristic grain compared to the illustrations.
Since this is a natural product, fine cracks and adhesions can occur in the extremely hard, slowly growing olive wood.
Care instructions: Do not wash olive wood products in the dishwasher. If possible, wash off with a soft sponge or cloth with gentle detergent and lukewarm water (too hot water can cause cracks). Then dry, do not let drain, and rub in with a little olive oil. The wood does not dry out and the characteristic grain and the amber-colored wood tone are supported.
Made by hand, the amber-colored, unique wood grain makes each wooden board unique.
Note: Solid wood "lives" and can warp, especially when there are fluctuations in temperature and humidity. When this happens, leave the cutting board upside down for one night - then the board should return to its original shape and be straight.
