Regardless of whether you want to regale yourself and your friends with Italian, Asian or domestic dainties.The unique and expressive grain of the olive wood makes our mortar and pestle so individual. The untreated wood is partially ground and refined with olive oil. Therefore, it is protected against dessication and germs, it is easy-care and especially resistant to odors and flavors and, thus, hygienic in the kitchen area. Besides, the very slowly growing olive wood is characterized by its high density, longevity and scratch resistance. For cleaning, water and some dish detergent are sufficient.Only those parts of the wood of the olive tree are used for our ecological products that cannot bear fruit anymore.Measurements: diameter ca. 11-12 cmCare instructions: Do not put olive wooden products into the dishwasher. Preferably, sluice it with a soft sponge or cloth with a protecting cleaner and lukewarm water (water that is too hot can lead to scratches). Afterwards, wipe it, do not let it drain, and slather it with some olive oil. In doing so, the wood does not dry out and the characteristic grain and the amber color of the wood get maintained. Rarely used products should be cleaned and oiled once a month.
